Resident Evil 3 Remake welcomes Animal Crossing in a new mod

If Nemesis' terror was not enough, Cinnamon arrives at the reimagined version of the Capcom classic, a strange combination to say the least.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Doom Eternal came out on the same date, enough reason for memes to flood the network. It is known, calm game versus pure adrenaline. If we put it together in the same product, mods with Cinnamon come to light in full demonic destruction. Now, the quirky character from the Nintendo game also visits Raccoon City in Resident Evil 3 Remake. It does this naturally through a mod released for PC.

Its creator, Crazy Potato, has designed the mod even before the launch of the video game, which will not go on sale until April 3. Jill Valentine, the protagonist of this installment, wears the Cinnamon mask, a somewhat strange contrast given the nature of this survival horror, which, as we said in our Reviews, keeps its touch more focused on action. We don't know if Jill will play Animal Crossing, but of course, now we can see her playing one of the quintessential Animal Crossing characters.

Resident Evil 3 Remake

Mod fever

The mode is available through Nexus Mods. Similar to Resident Evil 2 Remake, users were very imaginative and created all kinds of additional experiences. Capcom, for its part, has imposed no barriers in this regard. Nintendo, on the other hand, is not too amused that its characters and intellectual properties are used in fan projects. In fact, Sony withdrew from Dreams a game starring Mario because those in Kyoto complained.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons is an exclusive for Nintendo Switch that has been available since April 20. Resident Evil 3 Remake will be released amid the global coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). Capcom has already reported that physical copies may not reach buyers' homes on time. In any case, the digital edition will not be altered. It will go on sale for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
