On April 8, 2020 a small content update arrived at Fortnite Battle Royale. This minor patch, without numbering, maintains the game in its 12.30 version, although it adds its own changes and novelties to Season 2 of the Fortnite Battle Pass Chapter 2. We tell you, below, what are the patch notes:

Fortnite: changes and updates of the patch of April 8, 2020

As has happened on previous occasions, and even more so with patches of this type, there have been no official patch notes as such. However, all the news and fixes that are made with each of the Fortnite content updates can be found in the official Fortnite Trello, by Epic Games. And that is exactly what we have done to bring you this information. These are the fixes made using this patch:

General Fortnite fixes

  • Previously, the controls did not vibrate when taking damage. This has been fixed.
  • Previously, when choosing styles for certain objects at the box office, the game closed unexpectedly. This has been fixed.

General Fortnite Battle Royale fixes

  • Hand grenades have been re-enabled, previously disabled because they caused unexpected errors.
  • The challenge "pull an enemy player or minion with a harpoon weapon" did not work when pulling minions. It has been corrected.
  • When using the option to see the sound effects, the icons vibrated instead of being solid. It has been corrected.
  • The Coded Ax pickaxe has been re-enabled, previously disabled because it caused unexpected errors.
  • On PS4, the map textures were displayed at low quality. It has been corrected.

As you can see, the list of general fixes and concerning Fortnite Battle Royale is rather short, and the errors corrected in it cannot be qualified as "serious". However, Epic Games is always trying to improve its flagship through patches of this type.
