The Pokémon Company confirms that Pokémon Sword and Shield kicks off with a special Easter event on Nintendo Switch from April 10 to April 16.

Through the Japanese official Pokémon account on Twitter, the company has reported that Pokémon Sword and Shield kicks off this April 10 with a special Easter event in which we can participate in Wild Area Raids starring Ditto and small Pokémon. such as Bonsly, Budew, Cleffa, Mantyke, Mime Jr., Munchlax, Pichu, Riolu, Togepi, Toxel, Tyrogue, and Wynaut. This selection of creatures is linked to the idea of the "egg" and the spirit of Easter. It will last until April 16 and then we explain all the details, in addition to reminding you that we already know various details about "The Island of Armor", the expansion pass that will receive the title this coming June.

All details of the Pokemon Sword and Shield Easter event

The "Baby Pokémon" have invaded the Wild Swords of the Shield Pokémon Raids and we will find them with a much higher probability than before. In addition, by defeating them in battle we will obtain more candies and items to enhance their attributes. In addition to the Pokémon mentioned above, there are a couple that will be exclusive to both versions: Garbodor for the Pokémon Shield Raids and Copperajah for the Pokémon Sword Raids.

Among the items that we can obtain as a reward from these Raids include the Lasso of Destiny, Eternal Stones and Belts of Power, which are used for effective Pokemon breeding. To help this work we will have a much higher probability of Ditto appearing in these raids, so we can participate in various until we find one with the perfect IVs. We remember that IV (Individual Values) are the Individual Strengths of each Pokémon (Attack, Special Attack, Speed, Defense, Special Defense and Health Points) and they are usually transferred to the baby Pokémon, so if we want to obtain a specific species with perfect attributes we must get a Ditto with these characteristics first.
