Call of Duty Warzone: Players suspected of cheating will play together

Activision and Infinity Ward maintain a zero tolerance policy against cheats and have implemented various measures.

When Infinity Ward announced that it would not allow fraudulent conduct in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, they already anticipated that they would continue to deepen detection and punishment systems against violators. One of the measures he has just uncovered is that people suspected of using tricks to win this battle royale will be sent together to play games. It is not the only decision they have made, as they have shared on their official Twitter account.

As reported, the game will notify if the player you have reported has been finally expelled. Considerable improvement in the reporting system is still expected, but in the meantime, anyone who observes misconduct can do so through the Recent Players list. The developer prepares a simpler method that will work through killcam and spectator mode, although there is still no official date for their arrival.

More than 70,000 expelled

The team plans to further strengthen its technology with the goal of reducing the number of cheats. In a rather harsh statement, Infinity Ward explained that it had already kicked out more than 70,000 players since the launch of Call of Duty: Warzone. Infinity Ward further added that it will offer regular updates on this specific topic.

While Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was released last October 2019, Warzone did the same in March 2020. The battle royale developed by Infinity Ward works under the free-to-play model and is freely available to all PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC players.

This American study is not the only one that has taken action regarding cheats. Riot Games has released the closed beta of Valorant and has already guaranteed a succulent reward for all those who are able to find vulnerabilities in its defense software, Vanguard.
