The North American team is already looking for new employees for its next project, whose console is unknown, but it will be released in the PlayStation ecosystem.

SIE Bend Studios, internal studio of Sony Interactive Entertainment and responsible for the recent Days Gone, are working on a new video game for PlayStation. The company's official job vacancy website reflects a new vacancy seeking a senior technical artist for the development of a AAA category project.

Apart from the description of the vacancy, full of technical requirements related to said professional area, there are small details of interest for the players of the Japanese brand; for example, that the vacancy is, in effect, for the main Bend Studio based in Oregon, Washington D.C .; on the other, that this title will feature “high-quality” characters animated with facial recognition techniques for cinematic scenes. There will be human characters where they will try to achieve an aspect "as realistic as possible".

No clues: Bend Studio is back to work on a high-budget game

At no time is PlayStation 5 mentioned as the target platform for this video game; Neither the state of development of the same or if it is a possible sequel to the aforementioned Days Gone.

SIE Bend Studio was founded in 1993, although they did not become part of Sony Computer Entertainment until 2000. Since then, the firm founded by Marc Blanc and Michael Berlyn has worked in sagas such as Syphon Filter since the first PlayStation; also deliveries for PSP of this same saga or Resistance: Retribution and Uncharted: Golden Abyss.

Their great leap occurred with Days Gone, published in 2019 exclusively for PlayStation 4, the project for which they have had a larger budget. They had not worked in a video game for home consoles for fifteen years. With PS5 just around the corner, logic invites you to think that your next video game will come out on that platform, but, as we previously indicated, it is not something we know for now. The only thing we can embrace is the words of its creators last November, when they said they were open to a possible sequel to the Deacon St. John adventure.
