Assassin's Creed Valhalla will allow you to choose a female protagonist; confirmed actors

We can choose whether Eivor will be male or female in our Assassin's Creed Valhalla game. We already know the names of the actors who play it.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will allow players to choose the gender of the protagonist. The choice of the male version for its first trailer responds to an advertising decision, since its pre-launch campaign "will show both at different times," says Julien Laferrière, lead producer of the game, in an interview with Eurogamer UK. In fact, the collector's edition features an Eivor woman figure.

The same paragraph explains that selecting the gender of Eivor will be a part of the personalization system. “Beards, tattoos and war paintings will be several of the options that you can select. The equipment will also be customizable, in addition to your Viking ship ”, says Julien. Decision-making power at these levels continues the path seen in Assassin's Creed Odyssey. A choice that fell a little more on Alexios' side among the players, according to its director.

On the other hand, the actors after the interpretation of the two versions of Eivor have already confirmed their names. The men's edition will be provided by the Danish Magnus Bruun, who recently played Cnut in Netflix's The Last Kingdom. For the female one, there was another Danish woman, Cecilie Stenspil, one of the faces of Badehotellet, produced in her country. Both gave the news through their personal accounts on Instagram. Whatever your choice, the narrative team at Ubisoft Montreal has ensured that both the male and female Eivor are part of the canon.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will feature Smart Delivery on Xbox

After having the sponsorship of the Xbox brand in its first official trailer, Ubisoft has confirmed that the game will have the Smart Delivery feature. For those who do not know what it is, it is a function that allows you to download the new generation version at no additional cost for those who have their copy on Xbox One. With just one purchase you have access to the corresponding versions within the Xbox family.

In this way, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is one of the first third party titles that confirms its inclusion in the system. CD Projekt was the first to do so at the beginning of the year with Cyberpunk 2077, to which are first added the likes of Halo Infinite and Gears 5, among others.

In this link we tell you everything we know so far about one of the great titles for the 2020 Christmas campaign.
