Ghost of Tsushima presents its protagonist and his inner demons in a new trailer

Sony shows a little more of Jin Sakai, protagonist of Ghost of Tsushima, a young man who turns away from the path of the samurai to stop the Mongolian hosts.

Sony has shared a new Ghost of Tsushima video with which it intends to bring us a little closer to the protagonist of the game, Jin Sakai, and to the background and internal conflict in which it will be submerged during the story. As the trailer explains, in just a minute, Jin was trained by his uncle Shimura, lord of Tsushima, in the ways of the samurai. However, the arrival of Mongol invaders to his land will force Jin to adopt new tactics to confront them and Uncle Shimura will start to worry as he sees him walk new and dark paths, increasingly distant from the values and traditions of a samurai. But to get his family's land back, Jin may have to lose himself completely and become a dark ghost instead of a samurai. His epic will take us through the entire Tsushima region establishing allies to face Kothu Kan, leader of the Mongolian forces.

Delayed a few more weeks

The game was delayed just a few days ago due to the coronavirus, which also forced to postpone the release of The Last of Us 2. Luckily it was a minor delay and you will not have to wait too long to enjoy the new and ambitious project of Sucker Punch . From June 26 for which it was planned, it goes to July 17, guaranteeing a round summer for PS4 users. In addition, the developer has contacted fans of the game in recent days, leaving a hopeful message on Twitter about when we can see more of Ghost of Tsushima: "We will have many more details to share very soon, in gameplay."

Today's video data adds to the (few) we already knew about the game's history, such as the one set in 1274, when an invading wave from Mongolia hit Japan. It remains to be patient and wait for the news of Sucker Punch, which has already demonstrated its quality guarantee with the Sly Cooper and inFamous sagas.
