Burnout Paradise Remastered confirms price and date on Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch will receive Burnout Paradise Remastered on June 19. Exclusive features to take advantage of the console and 60 confirmed fps.

Electronic Arts announces that Burnout Paradise Remastered is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 19 at a price of € 49.99. Reservations are already open in the Spanish Nintendo eShop.

The last great success of the IP will feature exclusive news from this edition. According to the company itself in the announcement, Burnout Paradise is "optimized for Nintendo Switch with a range of technological improvements, an open world at 60 glorious images per second, high-resolution textures and tactile map control." You can also give a joy-con to another person locally.

In all other respects it is the same version that came to PS4, Xbox One and PC last 2018. The remastering has the eight downloadable contents of the original, including motorcycles and Big Surf Island, among others. Online features stay the same: Up to eight players can share a session.

Arcade soul

Our Reviews of the remastering took a score of 7.5 out of 10. Sergi Blanch concluded that “the word remaster is not a blank check for a product to be released to the market as is, without touching anything that could improve the experience of the user". The criticism, focused on this version, did not avoid that "it is one of the best arcade driving experiences" that existed on the market at the time. It serves as an entry point for new users who "are going to know how to play an arcade game that, unfortunately, they are no longer made."

His arrival on the Nintendo console was revealed during the last direct made by the company. It was not the only port that would land on it: Bioshock HD Collection and Borderlands: Legacy Collection were the main names. We cannot forget XCOM 2 either, which will arrive in a collection format with all the dlc and expansions received during its commercial life.
