After bootcamping with content and media creators last Friday, Riot Games' tactical shooter finally hits our region
Valorant, the tactical shooter from Riot Games, announced last Friday May 1 during the bootcamp for media and content creators that finally on May 5, 2020 the closed beta would be available for all of Latin America. This new installment from the creators of League of Legends, will open its doors during the first hours of this Tuesday for the countries of the region.
Recall that last week new details were released such as the balance system to reduce lag and latency differences, as well as the same aspect ratio for all users, regardless of the type of monitor they are using.
How to enter closed beta?
As in Europe, Riot Games collaborates with Twich in LATAM for the promotion of this closed beta so it will be necessary to comply with the following steps to access it:
- Create or have a Riot account
- Link Riot's account with a Twich account
When the beta opens, players who want to access it, unlike the closed beta in Europe, will only have to see a Valorant stream from the content creator they like, as long as it has Twich Drops enabled, no it matters what country or region it is from.
This closed beta will begin around 0:00 hours in Mexico on May 5. If you do not have your access yet, look for a Twich channel with Drops enabled, so you can gain access even before, so that you are ready when the servers are released. It is important to note that, in order to enter this beta, check if your computer meets the minimum requirements.
We know that you are as excited as we are about the arrival of the Closed Beta in Latin America tomorrow, so here we clarify some of your doubts: pic.twitter.com/Uu9ah8M7DK
