Sony Pictures Confirms Definitive Name for Its Own Spider-Man Based Cinematic Universe; Venom 2 already has a definitive title in Spain.
Sony Pictures has confirmed the name of its own Spiderverse in the cinema, announcing that from now on it will be called Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC) or Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel characters, a name that will now include all its productions films related to the Spider-Man universe, a character currently played by Tom Holland at the UCM of Marvel Studios.

Beyond the small misunderstanding between universes, the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters nomenclature includes the Spiderverse productions already released as Venom or the next ones that will arrive in 2021 as Morbius or Venom: Let there be Carnage, films that could already be directly related to UCM from Marvel Studios following the nods to Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the first Morbius trailer.
