Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters: that's what Sony calls its Spiderverse

Sony Pictures Confirms Definitive Name for Its Own Spider-Man Based Cinematic Universe; Venom 2 already has a definitive title in Spain.

Sony Pictures has confirmed the name of its own Spiderverse in the cinema, announcing that from now on it will be called Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters (SPUMC) or Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel characters, a name that will now include all its productions films related to the Spider-Man universe, a character currently played by Tom Holland at the UCM of Marvel Studios.

Veom 2: There will be slaughter in Spain

This has been shared by Sony Pictures through a recent publication on social networks, pointing out that we can already see all the Spider-Man movies through the Amazon Prime Video platform, including the Sam Raimi trilogy with Tobey McGuire, the two movies from The Amazing Spider-Man by Andrew Garfield and the most recent ones together with Marvel Studios with Tom Holland, although in this case it is specified that the Spidey films belong to their own Spider-Man Universe of Characters or Universe of Spider-Man characters .

Beyond the small misunderstanding between universes, the Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel Characters nomenclature includes the Spiderverse productions already released as Venom or the next ones that will arrive in 2021 as Morbius or Venom: Let there be Carnage, films that could already be directly related to UCM from Marvel Studios following the nods to Tom Holland's Spider-Man in the first Morbius trailer.

Beyond universe names, Sony Pictures has also confirmed the final title that will have the sequel to Venom in Spain, going from the original English title Venom: Let there be Carnage to Venom: There Will Be Killing, a film that was already delayed from 2 October 2020 to June 25, 2021 due to the current global coronavirus crisis.

On the other hand, in recent days the actor Tom Hardy who plays Venom / Eddie Brock has shared a couple of images on his Instagram profile and that he deleted shortly afterwards in which we saw Venom shaking off Spider-Man; What exactly does the actor want to tell us?
