The game co-produced by JanduSoft and Grimorio of Games raises over $ 200,000 on the crowdfunding platform.

Sword of the Necromancer is the latest Spanish hit on Kickstarter that joins names like Temtem, Blasphemous or Summer in Mara, among others, as an international hit of support via crowdfunding. The game has closed its Kickstarter with 201,526 euros raised from the initial goal of 15,000 that were set. This means that thanks to the 5,507 sponsors, they have managed to exceed the original goal by 1,304%. The game, which is already on the Steam wishlist and is scheduled for 2020, is defined as a dungeon-crawler in the form of an Action RPG with rogue-like elements, allowing enemies to be revived to fight alongside you. "Turn your ghosts into allies using the forbidden powers of the necromancer's sword," they relate.

As explained on Kickstarter, the game is inspired by titles like Enter the Gungeon, 2D games like A Link to the Past or others with monsters hunting mechanics like Azure Dreams. They highlight its fluid combat system as the differential playable element of it. Among the objectives achieved with this campaign, there will be a level editor, a new game mode called Colosseum and, as the final objective achieved, an animated opening, a Boss Rush mode and a boss summoning mode.
