Respawn Entertainment publishes a new Apex Legends trailer showing how the fifth season themed mission works.
The fifth season of Apex Legends will begin on May 12. Meanwhile, Respawn Entertainment reveals one of the highlights of this content framework. As published in their new trailer, Favor and Fortune will introduce players to a themed mission throughout the games.
Every day you will get a treasure pack. These chests will be earned during collection in all game modes. Upon obtaining it, they will not be added to your inventory, but will be saved until you return to the main menu. Its content varies between creation pieces, experience for the battle pass, Apex packs or the possibility of obtaining an artifact fragment.
Collecting five shards will unlock the chance to complete a hunt, a weekly event that allows you to raid the Canyon of the Kings to collect shards and other rewards. Although you can join whenever you want, you will only get rewards if you have unlocked your weekly mission.
In these missions you will arrive with your team at a point on the map. You will have to reach the objective while you make your way with the threats of the place. Upon reaching it, you will retrieve the fragment and must return to the ship before they leave without you. Completing each hunt will bring you another piece, an exclusive keychain, and a new chapter in the story of the Broken Ghost.
Throughout the season you can replay the fighters to which you have previously had access. This is especially useful for testing different tactics, as threats differ from the traditional way. The first of these will take place on May 19 and can be played after completing your first set of five fragments. So progressively on a monthly basis until the nine offers are revealed.
Of course, you can buy treasure packages for 25 points. Remember that Favor and Fortune will begin in Apex Legends on May 12 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
