Assassin's Creed Valhalla will contain a special mission with Beowulf, a character from Norse mythology. This is explained in the Ubisoft Germany digital store, which details what the exclusive mission of some of the premiuim versions of the game is about. It is the only store where the presence of this character is specified, since the others do not give details. Thus, it will be available in the Season Pass that can be purchased with different versions and surely separately when the time is right.
The Season Pass special mission, available on game release day, revolves around this low-key character under this description: "Includes Story Mission: The Legend of Beowulf. Discover the cruel truth behind the legend," according to the text that is not present in any other virtual store. Unfortunately, it seems that this type of mission will only be available if you buy the season pass or one of the most expensive editions of the game, so it cannot be enjoyed otherwise.
Specifically, the Beowulf Season Pass and Mission are available in Gold, Ultimate, and Collector's Editions. At the moment the release date of Assassin's Creed Valhalla is unknown, although it is expected for this 2020. If it follows in the wake of the previous ones, the game will be released on horseback between October and November.
