Ubisoft announces Ubisoft Forward, a digital event for July with its news

The French company joins the trend of sharing its next releases in streaming with its own event after the cancellation of E3 2020.

Ubisoft has announced that on July 12 it will hold the so-called Ubisoft Forward digital event, a streaming in which the French company will share its latest news and in which it is expected to present its next projects and launches, both for the current generation and for the next, with Xbox Series X and PS5 as the main protagonists.

July 12 even without specific schedule

And it is that after the cancellation of E3 2020 and all the major face-to-face events this year due to the global coronavirus crisis, many are the companies that have already taken the initiative to present their next video games on their own. So much so, that we recently attended the first Inside Xbox of others that will arrive in the coming months, along with other companies such as EA, which also recently confirmed its own digital event.

But returning to the so-called Ubisoft Forward, for the moment the French company has only announced the date of issue, which will be next July 12, at an hour yet to be confirmed. This has been shared through its usual channels along with a small video clip that you can see on these lines. "See you on July 12 at our Ubisoft Forward digital event, with game news, announcements, and much more," you can read through the official Ubisoft Twitter account.

What will be shown in said event? We do not have a specific video game list either, although it is expected that Ubisoft will share news about its next big releases, such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla (of which we could finally see a real gameplay) or other titles already announced such as Watch Dogs Legion, Rainbow Six Quarantine , Gods & Monsters, Skull & Bones or Beyond Good & Evil 2, among others. Perhaps we will also see video games yet to be announced? In just two months we will leave doubts.
