2K uncovers Mafia Trilogy for PS4, PC, Xbox One and Stadia; first teaser trailer

Hangar 13 is in charge of the project, which will be officially announced on May 19 for PS4, Xbox One, PC and Google Stadia.

That a Twitter account is resurrected after a few years of inactivity is a sign that something is brewing. It happened with Crisys: Remastered and has happened with the Mafia saga. After a series of tweets with words like "Family" or "Respect", Take-Two Interactive and 2K Games have released the teaser trailer for Mafia Trilogy, a new project developed by Hangar 13 (creators of the third installment) of which he knows nothing. The only certainty is that the company has set the announcement for May 19.

From the trailer it can be extracted that the game will be released on PS4, Xbox One, PC (both Steam and Epic Games Store) and Google Stadia. Judging by the title and the images, everything seems to indicate that it will be a remastering of the three video games.

The video shows three sequential scenes from each of the trilogy titles. The three main protagonists of each game (Tommy Angelo, Vito Scaletta and Lincoln Clay) are interspersed and tell us some phrases: “Everything I have done has been for my family”; “I have spent the last 10 years killing people. I have killed for my family, I have finished with whoever has got in my way; The family is not those you were born with, but those you are willing to die for. ” Next, black cast and the logo of the video game. "Family. Power. Respect".

That Hangar 13 was working on something related to Mafia was not official. However, the registration of several brands linked to the saga by 2K Games captured the attention of users and the media. It was also confirmed that the study was immersed in the development of a high-budget and open-world title, although at the moment they have not revealed whether it is a hypothetical Mafia 4.
