To all this, Goldsman compares his script with DC's The World's Finest comics: “It was really The World's Finest, in a dark and interesting way. I think it could have been charming. On the other hand, not a part of me is sad that Nic Cage's Superman did not become. The new Batman will be portrayed by actor Robert Pattinson in the new Matt Reeves movie set for the end of 2021.
