Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 unveils its full soundtrack

Activision announces that the vast majority of tracks from the original games will be featured in these new Tony Hawk's Pro Skater remakes.

Those who missed touring those scenes from the first installments of what are surely the best skate games ever have taken this week great news, and that is that Activision will bring them back with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1+ 2 Remaster, announced in the context of the Summer Game Festival organized by Geoff Keighley. One of the strengths of those games was their powerful soundtrack, filled with great pieces of punk and rap, and one of the unknowns around this compilation was which of them would be present. Activision has revealed it on Twitter and hopefully there will be quite a handful.

Almost all the music from the originals

The complete soundtrack of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 will consist of 18 songs compiled from the original installments, including, for example, Guerrilla Radio, Rage Against the Machine, Blood Brothers by Papa Roach, You, by Bad Religion, or No Millencolin cigar. All of them songs that accompanied us on those grinding evenings -when this word did not have the meaning it has now- and trying to make the 900 with the Hawk himself.

It is to recognize Activision's effort, reaching new agreements with record labels for songs more than two decades later, all in order to keep the essence of the original games to the maximum extent possible.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remaster will arrive on September 4 on PS4, Xbox One and PC, through the Epic Games Store. It will be done by Vicarious Visions, who almost 3 years ago brought us the very successful Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy, a compilation that also not only kept everything that made the original trilogy good, but was very well adapted to the times that run.
