Pokémon GO will receive a guide to play from home in the app itself

With the aim of making it easier for us to play from the comfort of home, Niantic will implement an in-game manual with explanations.

Naintic continues to work to make it easier for Pokémon GO Trainers to play from home during the period of confinement that is still decreed in most Western countries by the coronavirus (COVID-19). After announcing the last batch of items for 1 Pokécurrency and the date of May Community Day, the studio now announces that they will include a section within the game called Play at home, a guide accessible from the menu to know all the face details to play from home.

What will the ‘Play at home’ guide be like for Pokémon GO

As Niantic explained in a statement, the Play at Home guide will initially consist of six categories, which are as follows: Catch, Gift, Combat, Research, Peer, and Customize. When we access the menu, we will see an icon where we can access each of these sections as reminders so that we do not forget what we can do while we are at home; Pokémon GO functions without going outside.

"The next section Play at home in the Poké Ball menu will be your source of information on all the functions that will allow you to play in individual environments, no matter where," they indicate.

Other than that, Playing at Home will incorporate updates on daily field investigation tasks that we can do without turning a PokéStop, as well as starting a Trainer Match with a simple QR code.

It is unknown if the application of these changes is permanent or if they will expire at the end of this month of May, as apparently will happen with other facilities implemented in this period of exception due to the pandemic. The raids with a remote Raid Pass have not fully convinced the community, dissatisfied with the real effectiveness in making groups, but will soon inform about possible improvements.

We remember that the Hoenn Return Challenge is already active and will continue in the coming days. In this article we tell you all the tasks, rewards and duration of an event are flavor to the third generation.
