The company has announced that the new feature is now available under some conditions: "All games can be refunded for any reason within 14 days of purchase. However, you must have played no more than two hours." Additionally, they add that if we have been disabled in a game, have violated terms of service, or are abusing the policy, they may consider us unfit for refund.
In order to access it, we have to log into the Epic Games account, click on the Account menu in the upper right corner of the store, go to the transactions tab and click on the title of the game in question. If the self-refund option is available, we can press it to start the process.
Refund in EGS with the same payment system
As indicated on the Epic Games Store page, the refund will be received as follows: "This will be refunded through the same payment method used to make the purchase, although this may not always be possible depending on the method of payment used. Also, note that the time it takes to complete the refund process depends on your payment method. "
