Treyarch has posted through its official blog a retrospective video accompanied by a message to celebrate the tenth anniversary of Call of Duty: Black Ops, one of the most popular subseries of the Activision license alongside Modern Warfare. The North American publisher, who has still not revealed her future plans despite the fact that 2020 may be the year of her return after Black Ops 4 (2018), has thanked the support of the fans.

The company, a subsidiary of Activision since 2001, has acknowledged feeling very proud of what has been achieved with the four episodes of this series (2010, 2012, 2015 and 2018), but this time they focus on the first Black Ops, which is the one that celebrate birthday. After World at War in 2008, the studio reached its climax of maturity with the adventure of Woods, Hudson, Mason … a true commercial success that was heightened by the awakening of the youtuber phenomenon.
