Animal Crossing: New Horizons is updated to version 1.2.1 on Nintendo Switch

The successful new episode of the Nintendo saga receives this patch to correct errors. Update already available worldwide.

Nintendo has released Animal Crossing: New Horizons update 1.2.1 for the Nintendo Switch. Players of the successful new episode of the saga can now download this patch from the console's own menu; a mandatory update for those who wish to continue using the online features of the video game.

Unlike other occasions, Animal Crossing: New Horizons patch 1.2.1 does not bring major changes with it. This time there are no weight corrections or additions to consider; These will be made to beg until the next great content rotation of the ever closer month of June.

According to the patch notes published by Nintendo, at the moment we can confirm that the update focuses on correcting different errors and bugs, although exactly what has not transpired. Given that a new glitch was recently identified that allowed cloning objects (and thus breaking the organic essence of progress and obtaining items), it is possible that this is one of the corrected changes.

To update Animal Crossing: New Horizons is as simple as clicking “+” above the game icon in the Nintendo Switch start menu, making sure we have an Internet connection and clicking Update> Through the Internet. In less than a minute we will have the title updated to the latest version.

Ongoing events and sales: a global success

Currently, the International Museum Day is being celebrated (from May 18 to 31). Once it ends, the Wedding Season will begin (from June 1 to 30) where we will become photographers to help Paca and Al take their ideal bridal photo.

That this new installment is a worldwide success is something that is beyond doubt. In just six weeks, Nintendo had reported sales of more than 11.77 million units worldwide; in a month and a half, the figure already exceeded 13.5 million copies. It is currently the fastest-selling video game on the console.
