Marvel’s Iron Man VR launches free demo for PlayStation VR: now available

Before the game's release this July, Sony is offering PS4 users the opportunity to access this demo on PS4.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced that the free demo of Marvel’s Iron Man VR is now available for PlayStation VR on PS4. Players of Sony's domestic platform who have a virtual reality helmet from the company can now download this playable advancement from the PS Store to find out what awaits us with this first-person adventure where we will play Tony Stark from 3rd of July.

After several delays and a development with great ambition on the part of Camouflag, the studio in charge of the project, PS VR players will be able to access this summer one of the most exclusive exclusive bets for the virtual reality peripheral. On the occasion of the announcement, Sony has also announced a pack that includes a physical copy of Marvel’s Iron Man VR with 2 PlayStation Move motion controllers at a recommended price in Spain of 99.95 euros. Both controls are essential to play.

Each Move knob will be used to activate the propulsion reactors for Iron Man, Marvel's Armed Avenger, as well as his abilities. Sony has repeated on numerous occasions that this title is not a technical demo or a project lasting just two hours, but a complete game. Before that, the demo includes the following content:

  • Tutorial mission "Malibu"
  • Interactive sequence on the Stark plane with Tony, FRIDAY and Pepper Potts
  • Playable mission aboard the Stark airplane “Out of the blue”
  • Optional flight challenge mission
  • Optional advanced combat challenge mission

The contents are fully translated into Spanish, among other languages, with audio in English. The download has a weight of 16.61 GB, so those who are going to download it will need to have at least that space free on their PS4 hard drive.

The next two big releases this summer on PS4 are, on the one hand, The Last of Us Part 2, which arrives on the eve of the season change: June 19. Soon after, on July 17, it will be Ghost of Tsushima who will put the PS4 pin on before thinking about the next generation, PS5.
