Trackmania remake will be free to play with paid subscriptions

Ubisoft Nadeo presents the business model of the new installment of its popular arcade racing saga with various types of access, free and paid.

Ubisoft Nadeo, the Ubisoft studio responsible for the Trackmania saga and which will soon launch the Trackmania Nations remake, has shared new details about the business model of the new video game for the PC franchise. Thus, the new Trackmania will be in its base model a free to play video game with free access for everyone, although it will also offer several subscription models depending on the user's needs.

Trackmania F2P with subscription plans

This has been shared by Ubisoft through an entry in its official blog, detailing the different payment options for a title that will arrive on PC on July 1 at Uplay and the Epic Games Store after its latest delay due to the global coronavirus crisis. To begin with, Trackmania Remake will offer the so-called Starter Access in free to play format with a series of campaigns that will rotate every three months.

The free to play model will offer up to 25 circuits created by the developer team, to which we can add the ones we want from the circuit editor, paths that we can create, share and download without limitations. In addition, F2P version players will also be able to access the League of Nations that will take place every week.

On the other hand, and going on to the subscription plans with prior payment, the so-called Standard Access and Club Access will be offered, each one with its own content offer. Standard Access will require a payment of 10 euros a year to have access to all the tools of the circuit editor, to daily competitions and to all circuits without having to wait for the quarterly rotation.

Club Access, meanwhile, will be priced at € 30 a year (with an offer of € 60 for three years) and adds other advantages of the previous model, such as access to the Open Grand League, player clubs, exclusive appearances for vehicles, creation of personalized events or access to the Trackmania training circuit.
