Animal Crossing: New Horizons begins the month of June by welcoming a new event. After the International Museum Day, the successful Nintendo Switch video game now begins a new celebration with content completely free of charge with prominence for bridal gatherings: Wedding Season.
Wedding season: how to start playing the event
The Wedding Season event begins on June 1, as Canela will indicate when the game begins, and will end on June 30. For it to start it is essential that the console is synchronized with the real calendar; If we have modified the clock and we are at another time of the year, naturally the event will not be activated, which requires an online verification to avoid cheating. We are talking about 11.77 million copies in just eleven days: no game on the Nintendo Switch had overcome it so quickly.
In just a month and a half it has become the sixth best-selling game on Nintendo Switch, as we can see in the top-10 of best-selling games on the console. With these figures, it already exceeds the sales of its predecessor, Animal Crossing: New Leaf for Nintendo 3DS, which added more than 12 million copies.
