Codemasters, the developer company specialized in driving and racing videogames, has announced the acquisition of the official rights to the FIA ​​World Rally Championship (WRC) for five seasons and that will go from 2023 to 2027, to be in charge of the annual deliveries of the videogame WRC official, currently in the hands of Bigben Interactive with KT Racing.

Thus, Codemasters returns to the official licenses of the World Rally Championship from the distant Colin McRae Rally 3, which will allow the current developer of the official F1 video games to return to the races on dirt, asphalt and snow of the WRC. This agreement includes all the official WRC categories with the WRC 2, WRC 3 and Junior WRC Championships of the next seasons between 2023 and 2027.
