Valorant is now available for PC worldwide. The great new multiplayer bet of Riot Games has released the first great patch, update 1.0, now available to download with a series of corrections, changes and news that we will review below. Aside from the premiere of Reyna, a new character (Agent) who is postulated as one of the most interesting in the title, there are another series of aspects to review in the patch notes.
Reyna, new playable character
As we said, the first big change of Valorant with this version 1.0 with respect to the beta that we have been able to play in recent months is the arrival of Reyna, arrival from the country of Mexico to join the cast of agents of the new multiplayer title of the parents of League of Legends. Likewise, Ascent, an environment designed to fight positioning and wear battles, adds to the list of available maps.

Game experience and Balance
With the aim of making the release of Valorant a success and the gaming experience is not only smooth but also satisfying, Riot Games has explained what are the main updates of Agents, which directly influence the playable experience. Sage, Omen, Phoenix, Raze, and Jett receive buffs and debuffs so that all selectable characters are balanced. Sage
- Increases Healing Orb's cooldown: from 35 sec to 45 sec.
- Barrier Orb Segment health reduced: from 1000 to 800.
- Barrier Orb duration reduced from 40 sec to 30 sec.
- Allied Barrier Orb defensive walls now appear on the minimap.
Jett
- Increases the duration of the Squall Smoke Screen from 4 to 7 sec.
- Tailwind automatically breaks Cypher's trap wires after the ability briefly reveals Jett.
Phoenix
- Increase the duration of Flare: from 6 to 8 sec.
- Flare Damage: 15 every 0.25 s to 1 every 0.033 s.
- Flare Healing: from 3 every 0.25 s to 1 every 0.16 s.
- Combustion Cure: from 3 every 0.25 s to 1 every 0.08 s.
- Increases the maximum duration of Curved Ball blindness from 0.8 to 1.1 s.
- Ashes reloads all weapons automatically when Phoenix reappears.
Omen
- Paranoia is now equipped instead of using a quick launch system, and the impact register has been improved, especially at short distances.
- With Scary Veil, Omen now enters an alternate reality where he can see through walls to display his smoke screens. Pressing the reload key toggles between this mode and normal aiming mode.
- Spooky Veil controls have been updated: Omen now increases screen distance with MAIN SHOOT mode, reduces it with SECONDARY MODE, and displays the screen using the SKILL KEY.
- When using Scary Apparition, Omen will now see the location he teleports marked on the map and will have an indicator that points to where he is pointing if he has no vision of the place.
- Omen can now cancel the teleportation of From the Shadows when in shadow form by pressing the SKILL KEY again. If you do, you will also lose the final points spent.
- Valorant is now available for PC. The game comes under a free-to-play business model. After the closed beta, the results are a great success: more than 470 million hours between Twitch and Afreeca (South Korea). It also exceeded 34 million viewers on Twitch.
