The debut of Galar’s Pokémon begins with the 2020 Return Challenge Championship. We review all five phases of the missions with their rewards.
Starting on June 3, the special investigation of the 2020 Return Challenge Championship is available on Pokémon GO. After the four great temporary missions based on Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh, it is time to complete the final missions, which have as their incentive the debut of the first indigenous species of the Galar region. Of course, to unlock the Championship line for free it is necessary to have completed the previous four (there is a payment option if we do not succeed). We will go through the five phases of the missions with their prizes and rewards.
Dates: When is the 2020 Return Challenge Special Investigation?
As we usually do, the first and most important thing is that we take into account the periodicity of the Return Challenge, which begins on June 3 and will not end. Unlike Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh’s lines of research, this is not temporary. The Special Investigation of Return Challenge 2020 can be unlocked and completed at any time. These are the initial rewards: 5 Rare Candies; Reward encounters with Meowth of Galar, Stunfisk of Galar, and Form of Genesect, and Professor Willow’s glasses as an exclusive item for the avatar.
If we already have access to the special research for the 2020 Return Challenge Championship, we can still buy the ticket for 8 euros and receive the 2020 Return Challenge Celebration research, which has subtle differences. On the one hand, your purchase will give us the same tasks and rewards as the special investigation of the 2020 Challenge Return Championship. Now, if we already had access to the special investigation and we bought the ticket for the special investigation Celebration of the 2020 Challenge Return in the Store , the version will have these changes: every time we win a reward encounter with a Pokémon, we will take 10 Candy for that species and Star Dust instead of Professor Willow’s glasses.
What does not change is that during the event we will see Stunfisk de Galar wild and Meowth de Galar, Zigzagoon de Galar, Darumaka de Galar and Stunfisk de Galar will appear in the hatched 7 km Eggs. It will also be possible to evolve Meowth, a Zigzagoon and a Galar-shaped Darumaka to have their respective evolutions in Galar form.
