Death Come True, the new from the creator of Danganronpa, has a release date

Straddling visual novels, point and clicks and FMVs, Death Come True is coming to PC, PS4, and the Nintendo Switch, betting everything on its history.

Inazagi Games (creators of the Danganronpa saga) has announced the release date of their next project, Death Come True. The game, which belongs to the genre of visual novels, point and click and FMV (Full Motion Video), will be released on June 25 on Nintendo Switch and mobile devices (Android and iOS). However, we will have to wait a little longer for the PC and PlayStation 4 versions, which although confirmed will arrive over the coming months, on a date yet to be determined. The game will only be released in digital format and will be available for 1,960 yen (approximately 16 euros). Contrary to what has usually happened with Danganronpa, which does not usually come to us translated, Death Come True will come with subtitles in Spanish.

The game follows the line marked by titles such as those of Sam Barlow (Her Story, Telling Lies), in which everything is bet on the narrative and we are returned to the graphic adventures of the late eighties and nineties, when some games They consisted of a succession of videos recorded with real actors among whom we had to make decisions and solve puzzles. The germ of what would later be, for example, the works of Quantic Dream and Telltale Games. (Even Quentin Tarantino himself appeared in a video game of the FMV genre).

It will arrive in Spanish

The script will be written by Kazutaka Kodaka (creator of Danganronpa) and the music of the game will be composed by Masafumi Takada (author of the BSO of The Evil Within or Killer7, among many others). The story will take place in a hotel, where the main character, Makoto Karaki (played by Kanata Hongo), is a serial killer who is searching and capturing, yet has lost all his memories. Makoto only has questions. Why are they chasing him? Who can you trust? What is your true identity? The only thing he has in addition to these is with a mysterious ability that, when he dies, allows him to jump back in time and return to the past, being able to repeat decisions and avoid death.
