Barely a week is left for The Last of Us Part 2 to hit the stores, but Naughty Dog hasn’t stopped for a second in its promotional campaign. It is not for less, since from the study they have emphasized on several occasions that it is their most ambitious project. After the broadcast of the four episodes of the mini-documentary, the first episode of the official podcast of The Last of Us will premiere on June 9, as planned. To celebrate that moment, a teaser trailer has just been published, which you can see below.
The plan is to post a new episode every Tuesday, featuring team members like director Neil Druckmann or the actors who bring Ellie and Joel to life, Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, respectively. The podcast will be directed and presented by comedian and writer Christian Spicer, something that had also been announced. It is confirmed that the programs will be attended by not only developers or people who have worked on the second installment, but also other personalities who were present in the original game.
More powerful enemies
Neil Druckmann recently explained in an interview with IGN the improvements that have been made to the enemies. In addition to reinforcing the infected already present in the first game with new abilities, the team has designed a new type of enemy, known as the wobbly ones. These beings are capable of blinding Ellie and contaminating the protagonist with her toxic cloud. According to the director, in combination with the rest of the infected they can be absolutely lethal.
