The new Ninja Theory, which has already confirmed that it is using Unreal Engine, qualifies now that the new version of the Epic tool is the chosen one.

Ninja Theory is using Unreal Engine 5 to develop Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, the highly anticipated new title for Xbox Series X and PC with no release date yet. Microsoft has confirmed in a new official publication that “the team will build the game in Unreal Engine 5 and bring it all the power of Xbox Series X to take the Hellblade saga to levels never seen before”, explains Jason Ronald, head of product management at Xbox Game Studios.

Xbox Game Studios was the first major group to confirm that they were going to be working with the new tool from Epic Games, as CEO Phil Spencer, Xbox leader and Microsoft Vice President, confirmed at the end of the presentation of UE5: “Many of Our studios at Xbox Game Studios are using Unreal, as the Ninja Theory team to create Hellblade II, and are excited to be able to bring all those innovations from UE5 to Xbox Series X. ”

There was a certain tone of ambiguity in his message, since the most logical thing is that this engine was none other than Unreal Engine 5 and not UE4, under the circumstances. Now this question is confirmed and therefore dispelled: the new Ninja Theory is being done through the greatest technological vanguard of the moment.
