Fabraz, responsible for Slime-San, are in charge of giving color and shape to a title with a nostalgic flavor and a modern touch. First details and trailer.

The Fabraz studio announced during the IGN Summer of Gaming its new proposal in the genre of 3D platforms: Demon Turf. Those responsible for Slime-San have shown the first trailer for a work planned for Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC (Epic Games Store and Steam) where we will control Beebz, a young demon with the intention of conquering Demo World.

Along the way, divided into worlds and phases, we will face each of the enemy gangs. As the developers have explained in a meeting with the IGN colleagues, the objective is none other than to recover the spirit of the nineties, when platform games in three dimensions began to shine, but with a gameplay that allows them to feel modern, updated, taking the best of both times. Combat will be based on physics; In addition, we can place our own control points —or not put any, if we are looking for an even more challenging experience— and change the style of play through modifiers that will affect the protagonist.

Take selfies and unlock hidden events

Some of the phases will be designed in a more two-dimensional perspective, while others will be done in pure 3D. Demon Turf also aims to be a replayable title thanks to its side missions, divided through a central city with more challenges and exploration; as well as Photo Hunt, a kind of photography mode where we will be rewarded with new events if we take selfies in hidden areas. After independent bets such as Yooka-Laylee, Super Lucky’s Tale or A Hat in Time, the 3D platformer genre is once again gaining strength beyond the plumber, Super Mario.

Demon Turf does not currently have a specific release date, but the estimated exit window is the beginning of 2021 on the mentioned platforms: Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch and PC through the digital portals Steam and Epic Games Store.
