Activision prepares new products for the character. Although there is speculation about a possible new game, they are only indications. Crash’s future is unknown.
The Blackfire chain of stores has leaked the next line of products derived from Crash Bandicoot. The character, owned by Activision, will thus be explored through different commercial channels through new merchandising that will arrive in North American stores starting this summer. In the product file it is indicated as the publisher of the same to PlayStation; however, neither the Japanese firm nor Activision itself have formally announced these accessories.
In fact, these products do not have to be anticipating the announcement of a possible new game in the series. Highlights include lamps, sneakers, cups, glasses, socks and figures to collect. Throughout these last three years, from 2017 (when Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy was published) until 2020, merchandising products of all kinds have been launched, although this did not mean the publication of a totally new Crash video game, such as fans ask. What we did have is another remake, in 2019, with Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled.

Crash Bandicoot: N. Sane Trilogy is an international success. Until last year 2019, the title had already exceeded 10 million units sold worldwide in its versions of Ps4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch; It thus exceeds the sales of the original PlayStation game.
The wishes of a new Crash come from far away. The sales of the remake of the trilogy testify that there is interest in the character, but only the future will tell us whether or not Activision has a new installment in progress. One of the next appointments for the gaming community will be this same night, on June 11 from 22:00, when Sony shows the first official PlayStation 5 games.
