The Astrobot: Rescue Mission sequel is a more traditional video game, which doesn’t seem to be designed for virtual reality.
PlayStation 5 has been uncovered through new video games. The Sony console, which had kept its secrets for too long, has finally begun to unveil its catalog of titles. In the virtual reality arena, Astro Bot: Rescue Mission was one of the biggest surprises in PlayStation VR. During the event, Sony has revealed Astro’s Playroom exclusively for PS5, a three-dimensional platform game that once again introduces us to the charming protagonist of the original title.
What is most striking is that virtual reality has not been mentioned at any time, so at the moment it seems that it is a product more focused on traditional platforms. It remains to be seen if there is any type of compatibility with this technology, but what has been seen is that the gameplay responds to that of the most classic 3D platforms. Of course, in the trailer they put a lot of emphasis on the functionalities of Dual Sense, the new PlayStation 5 controller. The game will be preloaded on PS5.

As expected, the PlayStation 5 event has given rise to the presentation of numerous projects. Some, like Horizon: Forbidden West, were quite sung, especially for the success of the first installment. Evil tongues have also hit with Resident Evil Village, an eighth chapter that returns to the first person after two remakes with the camera positioned in the third person. Another one who is back is Sackboy, the funny protagonist of Little Big Planet, who will have another new adventure for himself.
PlayStation 5 has shown its design for the first time, although its specific release date has not been confirmed. Sony plans to launch it in late 2020, as does Microsoft with its Xbox Series X. The Japanese company has opted for a digital model and another with a Blu Ray disc player.
