
Valve’s platform offers its users the opportunity to try the new DotEmu title through the Steam Game Festival.
Windjammers 2, the new title of DotEmu and the sequel to the legendary Neo Geo disc launch sports game, will be available for the first time to try for free on Steam from June 16 to 22. This has been announced by its managers, confirming the temporary demo of said video game as part of the Steam Game Festival 2020. Thus, all those users of the Valve platform who want to try Windjammers 2 will be able to download the trial version starting tomorrow, Tuesday. June 16.

Thus, this first temporary demo of Windjammers 2 will be the first time that DotEmu will allow fans of the franchise to try a new installment that bets on the same frenetic gameplay of the original although with a fully updated audiovisual section, with HD graphics totally hand-drawn, as DotEmu has already done in previous remakes or new installments of titles from the past.
This first demo of Windjammers 2 will allow players to enjoy both the online versus local mode, a unique opportunity to put ourselves at the controls of a sequel that promises epic confrontations with the most varied abilities of its athletes, among which are Wessel, directly from the first Windjammers, or two new additions such as Sophie de Lys or Max Hurricane, all available in the demo together with three different scenarios.
Windjammers 2 does not yet have a specific release date, although it is expected to finally arrive sometime in 2020 for PC, Switch and Stadia; Initially, the new DotEmu was expected for 2019 after being announced in the long-ago summer of 2018.
