Codemasters returns with the official game of Formula 1 and shows a new trailer with the game mode that is released in this edition.
In the absence of knowing how the next season will unfold, the coronavirus epidemic will not change the schedule of its next video game. F1 2020 will go on sale on its scheduled date and will incorporate all the excitement of Formula 1 competition. Through a new trailer, which you can see on these lines, Codemasters has presented one of the novelties that we will see in this installment, My Team mode.
As shown in the video, we will be able to build our team, so we will have the opportunity to choose drivers and customize the vehicles, all in order to succeed in the competition. In essence, the player will become a manager and have more flexibility in setting the length of the seasons.
According to Lee Mather, F1 2020 director, the core of players will “welcome” a more “refined and deep gameplay with the addition of the My Team mode”, which will be accompanied by “configurable seasons” in which they can choose their favorite circuits . The intention of the study is to continue digging to bring the playable experience closer to real sport. “The additions reduce both the difficulty and the barrier of entry”, but without reducing its complexity in terms of simulation.

Michael Schumacher Edition
F1 2020 will go on sale on July 10 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. It will also be released, for the first time, on Google Stadia. In addition, Codemasters has announced the Michael Schumacher Deluxe Edition, which will include numerous extras related to the German pilot. The player will be able to put themselves in the shoes of the legendary athlete and drive some of their most iconic cars, in addition to obtaining some customization extras.
