Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2: tournament and new pets in its new update

Bandai Namco also confirmed that Chronoa, the supreme Kai goddess of time, will be the next playable character in the video game.

V-Jump magazine continues to report on the new update for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, the veteran video game developed by Dimps and edited by Bandai Namco. Weeks ago, also on its pages, they revealed that Chronoa would join the title’s extensive roster of fighters. Now, the Japanese company has recorded more news in that same publication, which include a new tournament, an unprecedented raid and some pets that will accompany our characters.

The Conton City Tournament event promises that the more we play, the more succulent the prizes will be. These are the rewards:

  • First game: loading screens
  • Game Two: Chronoa, Supreme Goddess of Time, as a playable character
  • Game Three: Chronoa Custom Skills

In addition, the new raid will star Jiren and the Patrols of Time, so we must put our skills into practice. Another novelty is that loading screens can be customized (hence new screens are implemented as a reward). Last but not least, Bandai Namco has reported that there will be new pets to follow the player and perform “adorable actions”. Among those characters are Puar, Zeno, Buu, Chaoz, etc. They are similar to Final Fantasy XIV minions.

More news

Chronoa has the following movements. Super Attacks: Holy Ingres and Kairos Cannon; Ultimate Attacks: Galaxy Time Impact and God Cross Cannon. The update will also introduce a Broly wig, armor, the goddess of time costume, etc.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse went on sale in 2016 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Later, Nintendo Switch users also had access to the video game, with an open adaptation to all the news and updates that have come out to date. Since its launch, Dimps’ work has managed to sell more than 6 million units.
