The Last of Us Part 2 shows the dynamic theme that comes in some editions

Ellie’s face is outlined to conform her features in a series of portraits drawn by artist Alice X. Zhang.

It won’t be the last major PlayStation 4 exclusive, but The Last of Us Part 2 is one of the most anticipated titles of the year. With a few days to go to market, Naughty Dog has wanted to show one of the extras of some of the premium editions of the video game. Those who get the Digital Deluxe Edition, the Special Edition or the Collector’s Edition, will get a code to enjoy a dynamic theme starring Ellie, as it could not be otherwise.

Through the official Naughty Dog Twitter account, the North American studio has posted a very short clip in which we can glimpse what the aforementioned dynamic theme will be like. Alice X. Zhang is the artist who has drawn the portraits that are sketched and that finally reveal the face of Ellie, the main character of this second installment (also the one that has elaborated the art that heads this news). The girl, who has already entered adulthood, is moved by hatred, because the inclement world in which she has had to live forces her to carry out all kinds of brutalities. Surviving has never been cheap in a world dominated by infected and unscrupulous people.

Part 3, a possibility?

The Last of Us Part 2 has yet to be released, but questions about a possible third installment have already started to arise. While nothing is officially confirmed, Neil Druckmann himself, the director of the video game, acknowledged in a recent interview that the next Naughty Dog title may be Part 3 or a new intellectual property. Who knows what the future holds, what is clear is that HBO is developing a series based on the story of Ellie and Joel, with the participation of Druckmann himself.

The Last of Us Part 2 will be released on June 19 exclusively for PS4.
