On June 17, 2020 patch 13.00 arrived at Fortnite. This content update marks the start of Season 3 of the Fortnite Battle Pass Chapter 2. Below we leave you with the most important changes and news, such as the new map:

Epic Games has published on their official Trello (a website where they update with the changes and news implemented in each successive Fortnite patch) which are the official patch notes of this update, although they are not complete:
Battle Royale mode changes and fixes
- The damage indicators were showing the wrong direction; it has been fixed.
Changes and fixes for mobile versions of Fortnite Battle Royale
- Sometimes the swipe up feature on the Fortnite mobile app would close it directly. It has been corrected.
- The text corresponding to a new emblematic place appeared several times when entering one. It has been fixed.
- The shadows were darker than anticipated. It has been corrected.

New weapons
Patch 13.00 has brought with it quite a few new weapons to the game:

They come back from the Chamber
The following items return from the Chamber and become available in-game again:
- Healthy salpicón
- Sherbet can
- Hunting rifle
To the camera
Similarly, these items have been introduced into the Chamber, and removed from the game:
- Sliding shotgun
- Epic submachine gun and legendary submachine gun (P90 purple and orange)
Nerfeo to targeting assistance
The effectiveness of targeting assistance has been further reduced.

Sharks and eddies
Sharks are a new environmental hazard during Season 3 of the Fortnite Battle Royale Battle Pass.
Eddies, on the other hand, lift us up and cause us to redeploy the hang glider, similar to the volcanic vents of Season 8.
