Rockstar blocks Ku Klux Klan hacks in Red Dead Online

Some players take advantage of a Red Dead Redemption 2 model to harass people on the online side of the game.

Although Rockstar Games strictly prohibits the use of mods in Red Dead Online, the online strand of Red Dead Redemption 2, that hasn’t stopped some from breaking the rules without any flushing. Players had already seen nearly invulnerable double-headed skeletons during their travels through the Wild West, but now more undesirable specimens have also emerged, members of the supremacist group Ku Klux Klan. Given this behavior and after complaints by social networks and forums, the developer has taken action on the matter and confirmed to Polygon that modders can no longer introduce these individuals into the game.

There is no Ku Klux Klan character in the world of Red Dead Online, but modders have taken advantage of the fact that the model does exist in Red Dead Redemption 2. The appearance of this xenophobic group has marked harassing behaviors in the video game, but it is like Be that as it may, the problem seems to be fixed already, so no one should ever see that disgusting white hood in cowboy territory.

Included in Red Dead Redemption 2

Like GTA Online, Red Dead Online is a standalone experience from the main campaign. Players come together in a world specifically designed to play in company. In order to keep it active, Rockstar Games puts special effort into weekly content updates. Anyone who purchases Red Dead Redemption 2 receives the online mode for free.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. Despite the fact that GTA V has already confirmed a version for the new generation (at least PlayStation 5), so far nothing has been announced related to the cowboy title starring Arthur Morgan and his band of outlaws. Set in the last years of the Wild West, this video game works as a plot prequel to the first installment, unpublished for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 (although it can be enjoyed on PS4 and Xbox One, in the first case thanks to PS Now and in the second through backward compatibility).
