The Pokémon Company confirms that the first creatures corresponding to the sixth generation of the saga will appear sometime this year.
The Pokémon Company has confirmed during the Pokémon Presents on June 17 that Pokémon GO will receive the first Megaevolutions throughout 2020. This mechanic, one of the most successful altered forms in the saga (Z Movements, Dinamax forms …), had a presence in Generation VI and works such as Pokémon Mega Mysterious World and Mysterious World: Rescue Team DX. It is time to make room for them in the Niantic phenomenon.
There are few details at the moment, beyond a brief teaser in the presentation on the social network Twiter. We only know that it will be in 2020 when we have at least the first mega-evolved forms of species in the license universe in Pokémon GO.

The Mega Evolution, pure memory of Generation VI
The concept of Mega Evolution, first seen in Pokémon X and Y (also in major installments such as Ruby Omega and Alpha Sapphire or Sol y Luna (endgame), is based on the possibility of temporarily evolving even further thanks to mega-stones Only a few Trainers have an item such as the mega-bracelet or the mega-hoop, essential to use the activating stones (that Corelia gave us in the Master Tower of the Kalos region).
To date, the Pokémon universe has a total of 48 Megaevolutions. The first 28 were introduced in Pokémon X / Y (2013, 3DS); the next 20 were added a year later, with Pokémon Omega Ruby / Alpha Sapphire (2014, 3DS). Notable creatures such as Aerodactyl, Charizard (with two variants), Kangaskhan, Gyarados, Blastoise, Venusaur, Pinsir, Ampharos, Heracross, Tyranitar, Blaziken, Gardevoir, Swampert, Houndoom, Manectric, Mawile, Garchomp, Lucario, Banette, Abomasnow, Sceptile, Slowbro, Beedrill, Sharpedo, Salamence, Altaria, Camerupt or Rayquaza.
Victini will be the protagonist of the Pokémon GO Fest 2020
The Pokémon GO Fest 2020 will be held this year remotely, not in person. During the Pokémon Presents, it was anticipated, in turn, that Victini will be the main protagonist of the event, the singular Pokémon of Generation V. In this article we tell you the dates in detail, how to participate and what times to do it from Spain.
