EA Motive’s new starfighter fighting title is out October 2 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. First gameplay since EA Play Live 2020.
Electronic Arts has shown during EA Play Live 2020 the long-awaited first gameplay trailer for Star Wars: Squadrons taken directly from the gameplay. The new from Motive studios, planned for PS4, Xbox One and PC for this October 2, displays at the event of the North American company its best clothes in combat with starfighters 5 against 5.
During the broadcast, Ian Frazier, creative director of Star Wars: Squadrons explained that he has been a fan of the saga since he was very young; in fact, he made drawings by himself in notebooks and then painted them: he was always a fan of starfighter combat. “In real life, being a pilot is difficult, it takes practice, and that’s something you’ll see in the game,” he explains.

The difficulty and learning curve will progress as we progress through the title, which they describe as “very fun”. Regarding the campaign mode, they intend to alternate the protagonism between the two sides, so that we understand the whole story. The estimated duration of said game mode has not transpired.
What is Star Wars: Squadrons?
We are facing a title focused, almost exclusively, on the spacecraft battles of Star Wars. In addition to its multiplayer mode with 5-on-5 combat, where we can choose fleets from the New Republic and the Empire, such as the TIE fighter or the X-wing, there will also be a single player story mode.

An immersive first-person experience that will also be compatible with virtual reality devices; including PlayStation VR. Skirmish mode, Battle of Flora clashes and, as we said, a campaign mode set in the final stage of the Galactic Empire, when the New Republic emerged. Finally, it should be noted that the game will be priced at 39.99 euros ($ 39.99). Members subscribed to EA Access (PS4, Xbox One) or Origin Access Basic will be able to play ten hours before launch and buy it with a 10% discount. In Origin Access Premier you can play the entire full title while they are subscribed. It will be on PC where you can even play with a joystick.
