Modus Games today, together with developer Finish Line Games, publish extensive gameplay video material on Skully, a charming action-adventure platform with a living skull as the protagonist.
The video shows the stubborn protagonist as he rolls agilely over the colorful areas of the island paradise, hops over stone paths and rolls through dangerous caves full of lava. Thanks to powerful, new shapes, which are formed from the magical clay of the island, and the cute, clumsy companion Terry, Skully always finds a way. It is important to remove the obstacles, such as complicated puzzles or huge piles of stones, (or to break through them).
Skully tells the strange story of a skull that was brought to life by a mysterious deity. He must now save the island from the terrible fate that awaits it if Terry does not make peace with his siblings. When rolling through the seven different biomes of the island, players use Skully’s loamy special abilities to master difficult platforming passages, meet character-rich residents and solve puzzles. Finally, it is important to solve the mystery surrounding the conflict between the siblings.
The game will be released on August 4, 2020 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Steam and Xbox One.
