Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions will have two story modes; new trailer

The new Oliver and Benji game will have two different campaign modes: one that will follow the events of the series and another totally new and personal.

There they go with the ball at their feet … Oliver and Benji’s new game, better known as Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions, is getting closer every day and, at the same time, looks better every day. In his new trailer, Bandai Namco has presented the story mode of the title and he has done it giving a surprise to all his fans: there will not be one story mode, but two! The game will have two campaign modes, the first one called Episode: Tsubasa and the second, Episode: New Hero.

Oliver and Benji Captain Tsubasa: Rise of New Champions

In Episode Tsubasa we will follow the story of Tsubasa Ozora / Óliver Atom and we will relive the great deeds that were told in his day in both manga and anime. A continuous tribute to the matches, tournaments, characters and moments that marked the childhood of a generation. The duel with the Derrick twins and their infernal catapult; the comings and goings with Mark Lenders, Oliver’s nemesis; matches against Ed Warner, the karate keeper, or against Clifford Yuma, the butcher of the series … etcetera.

For its part, Episode: New offers us to create an avatar from scratch and take it to the top through an unpublished story, in line with what FIFA does with El Camino. The story of Episode: New Hero will begin in high school, it will allow us to make decisions and it will try to improve our character until it becomes the best soccer player in the world, for which we will have to increase his attributes and abilities, which is to overcome training, mini-games and of course, many games. The story will have its own plots and enemies, such as the German team, which we could also see in one of the latest trailers.
