NIS America has a few new gameplay scenes from ‘Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen’ in store for release next May.

Prelude to the Fallen tells the story of a man who wakes up without memories and is taken in by a group of cordial boilers. Gradually he becomes one of you and gets the name “Hakuoro.” When the neighboring villages attack the village, Hakuoro stands up to the attackers and begins an unforgettable adventure.

Key features here include an epic story about love, war and fate, mythical heroes whose fate seems to be interwoven, and the art of war. Victory in battle can only be achieved with carefully selected tactics, harnessing the elements and the heroes’ unique abilities.

Utawarerumono: Prelude to the Fallen will be released on May 29, 2020.
