Warner Bros. Animation has released the animated film ‘Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge’, which is now available as a stream. The release on Blu-ray will follow at a later date.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge tells the story of a fallen martial art fighter. After his family was murdered by the mercenary Sub-Zero, Hanzo Hasashi is banished to the nightmarish Netherrealm. There, in return for his services, he is given the opportunity by the devilish Quan Chi to avenge his family and is reborn as a Scorpion.
Meanwhile, Lord Raiden is assembling an unusual team of elite fighters in Earthrealm to save humanity from extinction: Shaolin monk Liu Kang, officer Sonya Blade and action star Johnny Cage. Your mission is to defeat Shang Tsung’s hordes of Outworld gladiators and win the Mortal Kombat.
As director, Ethan Spaulding (Batman: Assault on Arkham) was at work here, while the script was written by Jeremy Adams (Supernatural). Creative support was also received from Netherrealm Studio Boss and series creator Ed Boon himself.
Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge is now available as a stream version, including at Amazon.de.
