Bethesda expects that the release of ‘The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor’ will be slightly delayed after the work on it has recently been switched to home offices. If anything, it will only be a short delay.
In a statement, Bethesda writes:
“Everything is currently going according to schedule so that we can bring Update 26 and“ Greymoor ”to the public test server on April 20. We’ll let you know if we encounter any unexpected issues that could delay publication by more than the currently anticipated week. ”
Lockdown ensures player growth
Aside from the possible delays in the next chapter, The Elder Scrolls Online is currently experiencing higher player numbers because there are simply more people staying. The developers, of course, are pleased about this:
“We currently have more players than usual, because many of you are stuck at home, and video games like ESO are a welcome change from everyday life, where things may not always go so well. We’ve had a lot of fun at events in ESO this month, including our game anniversary, so we’ll keep our eyes open if there are any problems as our already huge ESO player base continues to grow. ”
The official release of Greymoore is planned for May 2020 anyway.
