Streets of Rage 4 – Retro Reveal Trailer & potential release

Playfront

A new trailer was released for ‘Streets of Rage 4’, which once again focuses on retro action. A potential release date was also spotted.

The new gameplay trailer unveils some of Streets of Rage 4’s homage to the original trilogy, including unlockable pixel graphics characters with movesets and skills unique to their respective games: Streets of Rage fighters can call the police as a special attack while the characters of Streets of Rage 3 can sprint and roll through the surroundings.

These retro characters are elegantly combined with the five hand-animated lace fighters from Streets of Rage 4, so that the number of playable figures increases to 17. For the complete nostalgic journey, players can also switch to the cult and unforgettable original soundtrack of the series and distribute punches that are accompanied by music from tracks from Streets of Rage 1 & 2. With these timeless songs, the nasty thugs can be brought down in an unforgettable atmosphere – which is an incredibly satisfying retro experience.

This shortens the waiting time for the release with the truly historic return of Skate, Max and all other pixel beating heroes.

Streets of Rage 4 may appear on April 23, 2020, as a current dealer entry reveals. However, the date has not yet been confirmed.
