The Pokémon Company and Tencent present their new real-time strategy battle arena with 5v5 combat. It will be free to play.

The Pokémon Company has announced Pokémon Unite during the Pokémon Presents held on June 24. The title, developed in conjunction with Timi Studio (from the Tencent group) is a real-time strategy battle arena with cooperative 5-on-5 combat. A MOBA with aerial view and movement on closed terrain with different environments, will be released soon on Nintendo Switch and iOS and Android mobile devices.

The game will be released under a free to play business model; that is, free with integrated microtransactions. Masaaki Hoshino, producer of the work, has also explained that there will be cross-play between the mentioned platforms.
