Typhoon Studios has announced the first major expansion for their adventure ‘Journey to the Savage Planet’, which is called “Hot Garbage”.

The expansion takes you to a new alien planet called DL-C1 and instructs players to investigate reports of strange spikes in the new Kindred Aerospace interstellar water resort (voted 4th best in space). After representatives of robots from Vyper Corp. (voted the second best in space) have determined that they use the Kindreds Resort as a toxic waste dump.

You must report your results back to corporate headquarters, you can unlock new equipment and skill upgrades, including pencil boots for underwater adventures, a special Kindred suit to cross toxic areas, unlimited endurance for endless sprinting, and the power of flying.

“Hot Garbage” also introduces Kronus, a trash talking thing by Vyper Corp. with the only mission to insult the players throughout their adventure. The new territory of this strange and wonderful world also brings new flora and fauna, including a silly variant of the bird-like buffer and a fleet of “harmless” security and flight bot from Vyper Corp.

Return to the Javelin habitat after a long day and check out a selection of new commercials for the hottest galaxy products and services the future has to offer.

Journey to the Savage Planet – “Hot Garbage” will be available on PS4 shortly. There are impressions of the game itself in our review.
