Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will have offline multiplayer, according to PS Store

The Sony store has been indicating for several days in both Spain and other international portals that there will be multiplayer for up to 4 players.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will feature offline multiplayer for 2 to 4 players, says the official digital portal for PlayStation, PS Store. Since the day this new installment was presented for PS4 and Xbox One, we have consulted different regions of the store, including the Spanish one, and the same is indicated in all of them. None have removed this reference.

“Offline multiplayer (2-4 players)”, can be read. In addition, in that technical sheet it is confirmed that the title will make use of the vibration of the DualShock 4 and that it will look better on PS4 Pro, where it is expected that there will be more resolution and a greater stability in the rate of images per second is guaranteed. The reason why we do not firmly affirm that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time is going to have multiplayer modes is none other than Activision, which did not indicate this possibility during the official presentation of the video game this past Monday.

We have asked Activision about this possible addition of a multiplayer mode. We will update if we get a response.

October 2 in stores for PS4 and Xbox One; playable news

One of the main novelties of this fourth canonical episode of the marsupial is its renewed artistic section. Toys for Bob wants to stand out from the work done by Vicarious Visions with the remake of the trilogy, and that implies change. We will have new skills, more playable characters, alternative dimensions … In addition, they promise great final bosses and difficulty at the height of the saga through options that will approach the classic experience and others with a more moderate complexity; for example, thanks to the provision of control points in some sections.

As for playable innovations, it is worth noting the appearance of masks to unlock the ability to run through the walls while challenging the laws of gravity or the possibility of slowing down time for a few seconds.

All in all, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be released this October 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Compared to other platforms, such as PC and Nintendo Switch —where Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy did eventually see the light a year after PS4—, Activision has limited itself to saying that they do not close the doors to these options since they are “evaluating” the availability of the title in other systems. Nothing to announce at the moment.
